Can I share a brief/court book, document or download with a simple link?

It is simple to share briefs/court books, documents or downloads with others. Users are able to instantly share a link without having to download the file to Dropbox or OneDrive first, and then send it on.

Simply use the 'Manage sharing link' option in the 'Actions' menu to the right hand side of your documents.

Sharing Link

If you're sharing a brief / court book, when you click the link icon you’ll see the following screen:

To share, click 'Copy sharing link' to copy the link to your clipboard, and you can then paste it into an email, or whichever method of delivery you require. Note that anyone you share the link with does not need to have an eBrief Ready account in order to download the file.

If you no longer want people that you’ve shared the link with to have access to the brief or court book, you can click 'Change public link' to generate a new public link, at which point any link you’ve shared previously will no longer work. You will be prompted with a confirmation message such as this:
