If anyone using Microsoft Edge as their web browser experiences any issue with the display of their documents or uploaded images, there is a setting which they can adjust on the browser end.
In 'Settings', navigate to 'System and performance' in the right hand menu, and then toggle the button relating to 'Continue running background extensions and apps when Microsoft Edge is closed'.
Note: You may need to restart your browser for these changes to take effect.
